who we are

Britt and Lawrence met in 2021 and connected over a shared appreciation for the European inspired way of cooking and eating. Britt’s family roots in Rome and Abruzzo, coupled with her extensive travels throughout Italy have deeply fueled her love and passion for food. Lawrence’s French background, specifically long summers as a child with his grandmother in the Charente, inspired a love of French cuisine and fresh produce found in the weekly markets. Over the years, both have always been pulled back to their love of food, and have cultivated that love through cooking, educating, and entertaining.

luna la mer is a culinary combination of the French and Italian way of cooking - simple and fresh ingredients to be shared by friends and family.
